Doreen M. Mercado, Esq., joined the HENAAC Board of Directors in 1999 and is currently the Board Secretary.

Ms. Mercado’s practice focuses on civil litigation including business torts and personal injury for plaintiffs and defendants. Her clients include professional firms and private business owners and individuals. Ms. Mercado also practices family law and handles various dissolution matters involving child custody, visitation, support, and property division.

Ms. Mercado earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1990. She earned her B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1986 with a major in Political Science.

She has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1990. She is admitted to the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She was President of the Whittier Bar Association for 2007 and continues as a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.Â
