CAHSI Hackathon

The Hackathon, is hosted by the Computing Alliance of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (CAHSI) and is open to all college student registrants attending the HENAAC Conference.

The Hackathon is an interactive learning event that includes many aspects of professional computer security work in a "Capture the Flag" exercise. Students work in teams to solve challenges that test their cybersecurity skills. There is a novice and expert level.

Participants must attend a mandatory Hackathon preparation Cybersecurity Workshop on Thursday, October 19 at 10:15 AM. Failure to attend this session will disqualify participation in the competition.

Participants are also encouraged to attend the non-mandatory Cybersecurity Workshop sponsored by the U.S. Army Research Lab on Thursday, October 19 at 8:00 AM.

The Hackathon is on Thursday, Oct 19 at 2:30 PM.

Students are encouraged to register for a four-night packet to be present at the mandatory workshop.

Due to the popularity of this competition and limited space, ALL sign-ups are automatically being placed on a waitlist. An email will be sent to you, no earlier than Wednesday, October 11, regarding your confirmed status to participate in the competition. Final teams will be determined on site.
