We are doing this to reflect the expanded role of our Education Programs and other efforts we are taking to promote STEM careers in underrepresented communities.

      Great Minds in STEM™ is proud to announce the HENAAC 7th Annual Luminaries. This year’s Luminaries represent professionals in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) who are leading, collaborating and initiating key programs and research within their respective organizations. Each honoree is recognized for his/her contributions to the Hispanic technical community as a leader and role model. This year, we are happy to present the 2010 Luminary class with 24 extraordinary engineers and scientists from corporate, government, and military sectors.

      Luminaries will be honored at two separate events. Military recipients will be honored on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at The Salute to our STEM Military & Civilian Heroes Dinner and Corporate and Government recipients will be honored Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Luminary Awards Luncheon. Both recognition events will be held during the HENAAC Conference which will be held in Lake Buena Vista, Florida at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
