Shoes
Ladies: Invest in a good pair of comfortable low-heeled pumps, and make sure they are well polished. Please refrain from wearing open-toe sandals or stilettos. Gentlemen: Your shoes should be polished and complement your suit with socks that blend.
*At no time should shorts, tank tops, bathing suits or flip flops for men or women be permitted around Conference area.
Suits
Make sure your look is conservative. Wear a white, off-white, or neutral colored blouse with a modest neckline. Your skirt should be no more than an inch or two above your knee. If you do not have a suit, wear slacks and a nice top (no jeans), business dress or an appropriate skirt with no slits.
Makeup and Fingernails
Ladies: Be conservative with your makeup. Make sure your nails are neat and trimmed. If you are wearing nail polish, make sure it is not chipped and please stick to lighter, conservative colors. Gentlemen: Have your nails neat and trimmed.
Hair-Perfume/Cologne-Accessories:
Ladies: Make sure your hair is neat and away from your face. Long hair should be pulled back. Perfume should be applied modestly. No large earrings, keep jewelry to a minimum. Gentlemen: Make sure your hair is neat and away from your face. Facial hair should also be neat and trimmed. Do not wear strong cologne as this can be distracting for interviewers. Keep jewelry to a minimum.
