Organization Spotlight

GMiS Nationwide

Women in Engineering ProActive Network (WEPAN) began in 1990 as a collaboration of leaders at several major universities who were focused on supporting women in engineering fields of study. The national not-for-profit organization has over 700 members from engineering schools, small businesses, Fortune 500 corporations, and non-profit organizations. WEPAN works to transform culture in engineering education to attract, retain, and graduate women. WEPAN’s network of members on 150 college and university campuses reaches 42,890 female engineering students or 60% of the female engineering students through campus-based programs and initiatives.
