For the first time, Great Minds in STEM and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) are partnering to honor 22 years of Hispanic Technical Professional Achievement in STEM fields by honoring past HENAAC Award Winners. Our two great organizations are coming together for the first Hispanic STEM Legacy Luncheon, a celebration of the leadership of great Hispanics in our Nation's capitol. Legacy Luncheon Honorees represent the best accomplished Engineers and Technology Professionals and also their contributions in serving the underserved and underprivileged communities of America with respect to STEM.
Great Minds in STEM would like to honor our past HENAAC Award winners, and their contributions and accomplishments since being bestowed their HENAAC Awards, in our nation's Capitol who have dedicated part of their professional career to promote the importance of STEM careers through their involvement and support of Great Minds in STEM professional educational programs.
- The event will focus on the importance of a National STEM agenda and the contributions of the Legacy Luncheon Honorees in contributing to the STEM well-being of America's underprivileged and underserved communities.
- The Hispanic STEM Legacy Luncheon seeks to convene STEM experts from industry, government, and military to showcase great role models for presentation to national elected officials and their staffs as well as prominent Government officials with a STEM career interest.
