Throughout Agustin’s college career, he has been actively involved in several university organizations, conducted research year round, and worked impressive engineering-related internships while maintaining an excellent academic record.

Agustin entered Cal Poly Pomona through the Maximizing Engineering Potential (MEP) program and impressed his director from the very beginning with his seriousness, amiable spirit and his willingness to be a team player. During the course of his studies he has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement with a cumulative grade point average of 3.88. Such exceptional academic standing has led to numerous awards including the American Materials Society International Scholarship. He has been on the Aerospace Dean’s List, the President’s List and was named Most Outstanding Aerospace Freshman. For the past two years Agustin has also been conducting research with the Chemical and Materials Engineering Chair.
