Rebecca Fox      
United States Coast Guard Academy




Born in Honolulu, Rebecca Fox, is currently a first-class cadet at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut, pursing a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and a commission as an officer in the United States Coast Guard.

At the Academy, Rebecca is a division officer overseeing the planning for the Ethics Forum, an Academy-wide lecture series, which seeks to educate cadets in morals and ethics in order to strengthen their character and leadership. She is a member in numerous diversity councils at the Academy including International Council, Genesis Council, Compañeros Council, and Asian Pacific American Council.

Over the past three years, Rebecca has been on the Dean’s List three times for her outstanding academic performance and on the Athletic Director’s List six times for exceeding physical fitness standards.

Rebecca’s aspiration as a Coast Guard officer is to become a pilot and contribute to the Coast Guard’s mission of saving lives and helping people. It is this aspiration, commitment, and leadership in academic excellence and service to our nation, that earned her the 2013 HENAAC Cadet Leadership Award!
