The College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology offers programs leading to Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or with a Special Option; Bachelor of Science in Computer Science; Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, with options in Aviation Administration, Printing Management, and Production Technology; Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Administration and Technology; Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Arts; and Bachelor of Vocational Education in Vocational Arts. A minor is available for students majoring in other fields.

CSUMentor is an online resource provided through the CSU system designed to help students and their families learn about the CSU system, select a CSU campus to attend, plan to finance higher education, and apply for admission. CSUMentor can serve as a valuable tool in choosing a CSU campus, planning to meet admission requirements, and getting answers to frequently asked questions. CSUMentor is designed to be useful throughout the admission process, from the time students begin their research in middle school, high school, or after to the time they’re ready to apply to their school of choice.

East Los Angeles College was established in September 1945 on the campus of Garfield High School and moved to its present site on Avenida Cesar Chavez in February 1948.  It is the largest college in the Los Angeles Community College District, currently enrolling 21,000 students.   The college offers both academic transfer courses which prepare students for admission to four-year colleges and universities and occupational programs which prepare students for careers in two years or less. Many of the students who transfer from East Los Angeles College to a four-year university move on to nearby California State University, Los Angeles, or to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The college is located in the suburban community of Monterey Park, California, ten miles east of downtown Los Angeles and a few miles east of Boyle Heights.

Founded in 1925 as the Frank Wiggins Trade School, Trade-Tech is the oldest of the nine, public two-year colleges in the Los Angeles Community College District.   Among other things, LATTC ‘s  Bridge to College Program – provides students the opportunity to concurrently enroll in college courses while still in high school.  The purpose of this program is to provide: Advanced scholastic academic work;  Courses applicable towards a two or four year degree or courses beyond the scope of a high school’s program; Vocational Training: Any course in a variety of vocational fields (e.g. Architecture, Automotive, Cosmetology, Electrical, etc.) and  Non-Credit Courses:  Open entry/exit courses that do not carry any college unit credit intended for personal enrichment

The USC Viterbi School of Engineering
